Object Encoding
STATUS
DRAFT
SPEC
NIL-011
VERSION
0.2.1
UPDATED

Identifier Format
Protocol objects use fixed, prefixed identifiers so object class is legible without lookup: Ω- for Obligation Objects, HSC- for Human Settlement Cells, LD- for Settlement Domains, EPOCH- for Netting Epochs, I- for Settlement Intents.
Serialization
The current draft encodes objects as flat, versioned records rather than nested documents, to keep domain-level aggregation (10–12) inexpensive. Field ordering is not significant; field presence is validated against the object's declared schema version.
Status
Object encoding is the least stable part of the current specification and is expected to change as multi-hop corridor support (07) matures. Implementations should not assume wire-format stability across NIL-0 draft revisions.
